Refund Policy

Effective date: July 8, 2026.

GymBuddy supports payments for gym memberships, products, and platform subscriptions. Refund handling depends on what was purchased and who controls the commercial terms.

Member payments to gyms

Gym membership and product purchases are sold by the relevant gym. The gym’s published membership, cancellation, transfer, freeze, and refund rules apply. GymBuddy provides the software and payment workflow but does not override a gym’s lawful commercial policy.

Failed, duplicate, or incorrect payments

If a payment is failed, duplicated, incorrectly captured, or not reflected in the membership/product order, contact support with the Razorpay payment/order ID and gym name. Approved refunds are normally returned to the original payment method according to Razorpay and banking timelines, typically 5-10 business days after initiation.

GymBuddy platform subscriptions

Paid GymBuddy platform subscriptions for gym owners are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started, except where required by law, where a duplicate charge occurred, or where GymBuddy confirms a billing error. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method.

How to request a refund

  • First contact the gym for gym-specific membership/product refunds.
  • For payment processing issues, email support@gymsbuddy.org.
  • Include your name, phone/email, gym name or code, payment amount, payment date, Razorpay payment ID/order ID if available, and the reason for the request.
